There are various reasons which are responsible for the ineffectiveness of nursing teaching programs; some of the major reasons are analyzed in this paper along with their antecedents, current status, and future implications. The paper also makes recommendations about what needs to be done in order to train nurses in an effort to effectively mold them to cope with the challenging and dynamic medical environment.
